Accounting startup CANDIS receives 12 million euros in financing.

In a new round of financing, the leading provider of cloud accounting, CANDIS, has received 12 million Euros. The additional financing is intended to help CANDIS become the European market leader in the field of automated financial processes.

CANDIS Accounting Software

The Berlin-based software company CANDIS was founded in 2015 by Christopher Becker and Christian Ritosek. With intelligent software, they aim to automate finance and accounting processes. By providing all financial data in real time, the costs for companies are intended to be reduced and their financial processes made more efficient.

12 Million Euro Financing

In a new round of financing led by Viola Ventures and Rabo Frontier Ventures, the startup CANDIS has received an additional 12 million Euros. Existing investors, Lightspeed, Venture Partners, Point Nine Capital, Speedinvest, and 42CAP have also provided capital again.

Europe-wide Expansion

With the fresh funds, CANDIS aims to further develop its machine learning software and continue driving company growth. The startup has set itself the goal of becoming the leading provider of automated financial processes in the European market. So far, about 80 percent of all classic accounting operations in companies can be automated by the software.
