Successful financing for startup "Aeon Scientific"

With a total of 4.3 million CHF, Aeon Scientific successfully completed the 3rd financing round. The new funds will be invested in the development of the Aeon Phocus.

Aeon gains the confidence of investors

Aeon Scientific successfully completed the 3rd financing round, which was open exclusively to existing investors, and received 4.3 million CHF in new funds. The money will be invested in the completion and implementation of the Aeon Phocus. The Aeon Phocus is a complex control unit for cardiac catheters for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. With the help of a patented magnet technology, all four heart chambers can be reached. The control is done from a separate operating unit, thus protecting doctors from X-ray radiation. Aeon Scientific was founded as an ETH startup in 2010 in Zurich. Previously, the company won the national STARTUPS.CH Award the same year and received 50,000 CHF in startup capital. Since then, the company has continuously developed its product ideas in medical technology. To make more space for the development labs, the company moved from Zurich to Schlieren in 2013. Interested parties can visit the products in the new showroom and, on request, also get a demonstration of the Aeon Phocus.
